What are your flowers made of?

All our flowers are made of realistic looking artificial foam and artificial foliage. 

PLEASE NOTE: All brooches, pins, sharp objects etc - Please be aware supervision will be required with children under 12. We will not be responsible for any injuries caused.

 

What colours can you do? I have seen a style I like but its not in my colours? 

We have a full list of colours we stock here: SAMPLE ROSES

We can swop any of our ROSES for those colours in the list above. For example if you see a range named 'Baby Pink & Ivory Butterfly Crystal', but you need Blush Pink & White. We can do this not a problem. All you have to do is add a note at the cart requesting this and when the order is made it will be made in this design but in the colour way you have requested. If you require a colour that is not on the above list you will need to double check if we can source this first before ordering as there will be no guarantee. There will also be additional charges for full block coloured bouquets for example a full mocha pink bouquet. A colour mixed in with white or ivory as pictured on most styles will not incur extra charges. We also always recommend ordering a sample to check colour match - especially when considering a large order with us. Due to stock control of our suppliers - sample shades may vary. Also please be aware if samples are ordered extremely far in advance - sample shades may vary with this also. Please contact us for more information regarding this if there are any questions or concerns. 

NB: Calla lilies, daises & other items which have colours are only available in the colours listed on the website. Please message to clarify this. 

 

I want to change the colour way - where do I add the note?

Please add the note at the cart. This is what you add your items to before you move onto the checkout at the top of the page. Once you click on 'ORDER NOTE/REQUEST' please add your requirements here. If you miss this and have put through the order. Please message what the note should be and one of our team will add this on for you.

NB: If a note is not added regarding colour change or requirements etc we will not take responsibility for these being missed by our workshop. Please make notes clear, understandable and concise for the team when they come to make your flowers.

How soon should I order?

We always advise our customers to order and secure their flowers as soon as possible due to how busy we are and potential design change. Our system automatically requires your wedding date to make a purchase and we aim to deliver your flowers at least 2 weeks to 10 days before your wedding date. 

Any orders that are placed with 6 weeks or less till wedding date stated at the GroovyRuby checkout will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstance due to the fact these are last minute orders and extra stock and labour costs that incur within the workshop. 

 

How do I pay for my order?

We accept all major debit and credit cards. And we still have the option to do secure payments through PayPal with your PayPal account. The choice is yours.

 

Do you offer payment plans? 

Yes we have two options available at the checkout. 

 

GroovyRuby have also teamed up with PayPal Credit. Get 4 months to pay on baskets of £99+. Instructions in screenshot below. (Subject to status. Min monthly payment applies. Terms apply.)

 

 

I don't have PayPal & do not want to set up an account - How do I still pay through them?

Also please note that you don't have to have an account with PayPal to make a payment through them - you can do a one off payment with a debit or credit card. See below screenshot - just click on the 'Pay by Credit or Debit Card' option when you come to that part of the checkout. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your card details etc and it will be done as a one off transaction.

How much does it cost to post my order?

UK (England, Scotland, Wales & NI) standard delivery is £5.

UK Large orders over £100 are £9.99.

UK Extra Large orders over £175 are £18.00.

Shipping to Ireland is £35. 

Channel Isles shipping is £30. 

International shipping prices are answered below. If you have any questions at all regarding shipping please contact us. 

 

GroovyRuby UK Delivery Artificial Wedding Flowers Bouquet

 

What is the 'UK Standard Shipping - With Wedding Travel Packaging' option? 

This option is perfect for all of you who have international weddings and will be travelling abroad with your flowers. We will include in your main GroovyRuby order (which is going to your UK address) individual flat-packed bouquet boxes for easy travel. The flat-packed boxes will only be added for each of the individual bouquets within the order - flattened. The bouquets themselves will not all come individually boxed in the main order - we add the boxes for you to do this yourself for safe travel. We will also NOT be providing any additional items for example: bubble wrap, tissue or tape etc. It will just be the individual flat-packed boxes only, which will be the correct size for each bouquet. One less stress. This costs £39.99 and you can choose this option at the checkout. This option must be chosen at the checkout - if this is not picked the boxes will not be provided. 

 

Do you ship internationally? 

Yes we do, all items that are posted are tracked and signed. The international shipping prices we have calculated are final, these are below. 

Small International Shipping, orders up to £100 in value is £45. 

Medium International Shipping, orders up to £150 in value is £55

Large International Shipping, orders up to £200 in value is £65.  

XL International Shipping, orders up to £300 in value is £75. 

XXL International Shipping, orders over £300 in value is £85.  

 

How are my items posted?

Items are boxed and neatly packed with protective tissue, keeping our packaging as environmentally conscious as possible. We clearly label the boxes alerting DPD to its fragile contents. 

 

How long does delivery of my items take?

All of the orders are handmade & bespoke. We work in wedding date order prioritising each next calendar month & aim to get your wedding flowers to you at least 4 weeks - 10 days before your stated wedding date at the checkout. If your wedding date is less than one calendar month please contact us prior to ordering so we can check the schedule availability and appoint one of our team to accommodate you.

Dispatch running time also depends on wedding season. At GroovyRuby we consider wedding season to run from June to September. Weddings will be dispatched at around 2 weeks before in this time frame due to the high volume regardless of when secured. Out of season wedding dates, for example, January weddings will receive their flowers normally at around 6 weeks before.

The wedding date you enter at purchase is considered your wedding date to comply with our terms and conditions. There will be no refunds after this stated wedding date or cancelled wedding dates. In theory you can put any date you would like to receive your flowers in this box. But please keep the above information in mind regarding our terms.

We dispatch our items with DPD*, after receiving our dispatch email, you usually receive your order within 1-2 working days. DPD will contact you regarding your parcel directly once picked up from our workshop, supplying you with a tracking number and delivery options.

Samples & small orders (depending on size and complexity) are dispatched much quicker than the time stated above - usually within 5-10 working days. 

*Scottish Highland addresses (only) are posted through Royal Mail 2nd class signed for service. 

 

Can I have my order earlier than stated delivery time? 

If you require your order earlier then the stated delivery time in our FAQs we reserve the right to accept no returns for any reason whatsoever. Due to the extra labour costs that are incurred to dispatch the order earlier. We allocate labour time to create all orders in wedding date order due to the sheer volume of our calendar. You will be asked for a new stated wedding date to comply with our terms and conditions. There will be no refunds after this new stated wedding date or cancelled wedding dates.

 

My wedding date is more than 12 months away - when's best to order?

Our calendar books up fast, so we advise securing your flowers as soon as you can and when is best for you. Any orders placed with the wedding date more than 12 months in advance will still not be created and dispatched until at least 4-6 weeks prior to stated wedding date at the cart. Please see above for terms and conditions regarding requesting orders earlier. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Embellishments may tarnish beyond our control if order is received 6 months or above prior to your wedding - even if stored correctly. We will take no responsibility if this occurs. 

 

Can I add onto an existing order without paying postage again? 

Yes you can. All you have to do is contact our team and we will send you an invoice for the extras you have requested without additional postage costs. We will just need your original order number, how many and which items you need. Also if you intend to add items to your original order - can you please inform us if you have put them through separately. We cannot guarantee colour matching which is sometimes out of our control if all items are ordered are not created together. 

 

I have added sample roses into my main full order. Can they be dispatched separately to the bouquets etc?

Only when an additional £5.00 small shipping postage charge has been paid. I would advise to put the sample order and the main order through separately to avoid any delay. 

 

I have an existing order and I need to change my delivery address - how do I change this? 

If you move or need to change the delivery address since ordering your flowers - not a problem at all. Please get in touch with the team by email with your order number. We need written confirmation of the old and new address. The address on existing orders has to be updated manually for the workshop by one of our team for it to be accepted, it will not automatically go through. Please always get in touch with this and not just update the address on the account, as it will not go through and your flowers could end up being forwarded to the old address. We will not accept responsibility if we have not been officially told in writing by email that you are changing the delivery address. 

 

Why do some of your items not have pictures?

GroovyRuby has over 27 years experience but the website is quite new and we are still building our photographic portfolio portraying different colour ways available on our ranges. We have sample options to purchase roses or ribbons in the colours you require. We strongly advise at times especially if your purchase is quite large to take this option to guarantee correct colour matching. Due to stock control of our suppliers - sample shades may vary. Also please be aware if samples are ordered extremely far in advance - sample shades may vary to orders made with this also.

 

What size are your bouquets?

You can find all the measurement information by clicking onto the item and reading the description listed. Round bouquet measurements are listed in the diameter (side to side). They are also measured over the dome of the roses, not the back of the bouquets. All sizes are approximate - not exact - there may be slight differences due to stock changes out of our control. All our items are sent as per illustration and size stated. The handles of the bouquets are sent as pictured, we cannot bend them as this will distort the integrity of the bouquets. Wrist corsages come as standard and are expandable. If for any reason you are disappointed, items can be returned untampered with for a refund (see return). If larger arrangements are required - please get in touch beforehand to be quoted accordingly. If any extra stock is required - there will be a charge and we will not under any circumstances pay for outside stock. 

 

Will my flowers look exactly like the picture shown?

Sometimes due to stock change and availability out of our control we will use flowers as close to the ones advertised as possible resulting in slight differences - but we assure you the quality will be kept the same and at a high standard. And please note once the order has been received and there is a colour match discrepancy - the order cannot be returned if the label has been removed from the original colour sample ordered. We will not accept responsibility for incorrect shades ordered from a sample.  

 

I would like a bespoke package? 

If all the items or colour ways of certain styles you require are not available on our site and you would like to discuss this with us please feel free to call or email one of our team. 

 

What would you recommend for buttonholes or pin ons for light coloured suits/outfits? 

As much as our products are produced as colourfast, we strongly advise as a preventative measure against any colour transferal, ribbon covered stems on light colours. We do not accept responsibility of any colour transfer from any of our items onto any garment (suits, outfits etc) and we will not under any circumstance cover dry cleaning, cleaning products or replace any garment. These are the terms accepted upon ordering. If you would like any advice or clarification please contact the team before placing the order. 

 

How do I cancel my order?

If you've not yet received your flowers and you decide you would like to cancel them or even just a part of the order, please get in touch with one of our team as soon as possible. Please note that all orders are booked into wedding date order and stock is ordered well in advance to coincide with your wedding date. There will be a 30% cancellation fee on flower orders if you're cancelling after the order has been confirmed. The fee is your non-refundable deposit to secure your flowers in the first place.

If you purchased your flowers directly from the website and you're cancelling your order within 12 weeks prior to your wedding date then the retention will be 50% of the total order value.

Customised items (anything not standard off the website) - for example colour changes,  added colours and items that have added extras etc, have a 50% retention fee also. 

All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud.

 

Can I change the design of my original order before I receive them? 

Yes you can only BEFORE you have received them. However if the range you have now selected is more expensive then the one already secured you will be invoiced the difference and this needs paying otherwise the style will stay the same as originally ordered. If the range you have now selected is cheaper - you will not be refunded the difference and it will be considered the admin fee - as stock has been allocated and saved for the previous style which is now not being used. 

Also discounts will only apply at the original time of purchase when a discount is offered. If any discounted order has items added on to, or is changed to a different design, only the original monies paid will be deducted from the amended total. Any extras will be charged at the full asking price. 

 

Sales & Discounts?

Prices are agreed at time of checkout. No partial refunds will be given under any circumstances if any promotional offers are applied after your purchase. Just as we wouldn't invoice you if stock prices increase. 

 

How do I get a refund for my items?

Please return within 7 working days of receiving your flowers and receipt of confirmation of your return - for a refund if not satisfied with your order. Please note the first day of this is considered from when you receive your flowers. This includes the day of 1st attempted delivery - which we will know from the tracking number. You will not be able to return 7 working days after the day of delivery/first attempted delivery under any circumstance.  

If for any reason there is a problem with your order could you please message immediately and we will rectify it as soon as possible. Photographic evidence will always have to be provided.

Prior consent from one of our team is needed otherwise the return will not be accepted and it must be received within the 7 working day time frame. We do NOT refund original postage. We are also NOT responsible for return postage costs and we are NOT liable for any damaged or lost items on transit back to us.

We will not refund any monies until all the items arrive back to us in the perfect condition they were dispatched to you. There will also be no refunds after stated wedding date or cancelled wedding dates. The MAXIMUM amount that will be refunded from any returned order, under any circumstance is 70%. The 30% is your original deposit to secure the stock and labour costs to make your order. 

Any monies refunded will ONLY be made to the original payment method. This is the law, and this is to ultimately prevent fraud and money laundering. 

Any orders that are placed with 6 weeks or less till wedding date stated at the GroovyRuby checkout will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstance due to the fact these are last minute orders and extra stock and labour costs that incur within the workshop. 

Customised items (anything not standard off the website) - for example colour changes, added colours and items that have added extras etc, are non returnable & non-refundable. 

Sample bouquets are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances due to time and labour costs. 

All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud.

PLEASE NOTE: All buttonhole pins are complementary due to stock availability.

 

What is the return address?

Please contact us via email to confirm. Prior consent from one of our team is needed otherwise the return will not be accepted. The return must be made within 7 working days of receipt of confirmation from us - otherwise the return will not be accepted and no monies will be refunded. 

All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud. 

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order, please contact us WITHIN 24 hours of taking delivery to advise, once this period has lapsed the assumption is that you are fully happy with your order and satisfied that you have received everything ordered. If an item is returned and on examination is not faulty or supplied incorrectly then a refund will be refused.

 

I have not received my order?

All items require proof of postage, DPD generally do not ask you to sign for your parcel, they take photos of the parcels in your open doorway as proof that they have been delivered. If you have not received your order in the time stated please contact DPD referencing your tracking number you would have received when dispatched. If for any reason your parcel does not turn up after the allocated time, we would need hard copy evidence from DPD that the order is missing. All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud. If DPD are claiming the order has been delivered - you yourself will have to make a claim, as going forward there is nothing we can then do - as our obligation is complete. 

 

There are items missing from my order? 

Claims for shortages on goods MUST be made within 3 working days on receiving the order. Claims for shortages will not be accepted after this time frame.

 

My items have been damaged in transit?

If your items by any chance arrive damaged via DPD please contact us within 3 working days of receiving the order with photographic evidence of the damage. If the parcel arrives severely damaged - we strongly advise to refuse delivery and let us know immediately so we can rectify the problem quick and swiftly. 

 

Some of my items have slightly misshapen?

We have thorough quality control at GroovyRuby, everything is checked before packing. Our items are delivered as per image, we cannot accept responsibility once the item has been received and the customer was initially happy with the purchase. We do not have any control over how the customer wishes to use them. As with any artificial floral arrangements, bridal bouquets are delicate but they can be rectified by putting them back in to place. 

 

How do we get in touch with you? 

By email or instant messenger only. This is to protect both parties and have hardcopies of all communication for us both. We please ask all correspondence to be with the named buyer only to follow GDPR law. We also politely ask you to treat all our staff with respect. Aggressive, rude, offensive, disrespectful and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and we have the right to refuse service and keep communication to an absolute necessary if this instance occurs.
